Workshop Conclusion

The 2000 Workshop was a success!
Our Thanks to Petzl and BCI for their donations!

The Cavers Resource Workshop was designed  to teach each one of us about the many aspects and varied interactions which may happen in cave environments. The workshops goal is to help each caver be more aware of everything that may be found in the underground world.  Cavers learn about such things as the cave environment, endangered and threatened species, historic signatures, the geology of caves and karst, conservation, protection and preservation. The 2000 workshop gave cavers the opportunity to meet, listen and learn from scientists and other professionals who are specialists in their field.

Through our cooperative efforts we can begin to gain knowledge, conserve and preserve the contents of the  fragile underground environment.
